June was the first of our indoor Winter Jams and the joint was well and truly rocking. Put July 21 in your diary because you won’t want to miss the biggest regular jam session in WA. Dust of your musical instrument or your dancing shoes and get on down to the Parade. Our raffled Rat Bones, Snakehead Tele could be yours for just $5 so that’s another good reason to make your presence felt.
The
weather Gods love our music. We have had such a great run outside in
the sunshine. But if it rains we will be inside having just as much fun.
Every third Sunday of the month the Parade Hotel rocks to the sound of
music. If you haven’t been to a jam before then come on down, newcomers
and guests are welcome. If you just want to hear a great line up of
musicians and music then this will be the place. Catch you there.
Our
April Jam Day was our biggest ever. There just isn’t a place in WA
where you can hear such a big line up of musicians like our jams. Come
and join the fun. Either to listen to an afternoon of music with friends
or bring an instrument and get on up on stage with us. Come and
participate in Bunbury’s biggest monthly music event.
This is a big weekend folks with a heap of music. First the Roydon Payne gig at The Parade Hotel this Friday night and then on Saturday night we have the second of our Big Blues Attack Jams at the South Bunbury Footy Club at the JE Hands Memorial Park off Blair Street, .If you are a club member and you want to play WE WILL GET YOU UP ON STAGE we promise. So bring a friend and come along for a Saturday night blast.
This
time last year Roy Payne toured with the fabulous Toni Swain and he is
back, this time with his twin-neck guitar. We have three great bands
playing The Parade on the 22nd and Roy will be joining the fray for what
promises to be an evening of kicking good music. Roy has told us he
just wants to let loose and the South West can’t wait to hear his guitar
magic. Come along for a smashing good night.
This is a big month as we continue to enjoy summer outdoors on the edge of the Bay. This month’s poster girl is the beautiful and talented Zairyn. Last jam day she stunned everyone when she got behind the microphone for the first time. It’s what jams days are all about. Dust off those instruments and join us for an afternoon of fun and fellowship, Sunday 17th at 1pm, the Parade Hotel.
We hope you have this in your diary. Yep it’s that time of the month. If you come to play we will guarantee you will get a slot. The weather is perfect for an afternoon on the edge of the bay with good friends and damn fine music. See you there.
Sorry about the short notice folks but we have a big bash lined up at the South Bunbury Footy Club at the JE Hands Memorial Park off Blair Street, next Sunday and all are welcome. SWBC members please bring your instruments as you WILL get an opportunity to play. Because this event is at The Football Club there are special conditions of entry because of the liquor licensing laws. You will need to be a member of the Footy Club, be an Associate member (that costs $5 if you front up at the door on the day) or as a guest of a member. So there are two ways you can get in. Get a member to invite you (many SWBC members are already members) or you can become an Associate member when you arrive for a mere $5. Anywhich way it is going to be a real fun afternoon of blues, music, a few coldies and good friends. See you there. Now if you have any questions please call James: 0412 447 694 or Dave: 0438 467 505.
