The June Jam Session broke the long Covid drought and the turn out was spectacular. The River Room was alive, we had a record number of new musicians and it was a smashing afternoon in the sun overlooking Koombana Bay. This may be the last Jam with restrictions on numbers so please get a seat early to avoid disappointment. Bring a friend and enjoy an afternoon of great music and hospitality.
It’s all go folks. The first Post Covid Jam Session will happen this month so dust off those instruments and get your booty to the Parade Hotel for a good old fashioned afternoon of fun. We are in the River Room and there is a restriction on numbers so get there early to avoid disappointment because there are no bookings. There are some rules to keep you safe so please comply these. Let’s get behind the Parade who have done it tough over the last few months and have worked so hard to get our jams up and running again. See you there.
Hard on the heels of our monthly Parade Jam Day comes another monumental get together and jam session down at the Beerfarm in Metricup. It is so good to be back at this venue after all this time. The last jam we had here was well attended and why not, it is such a great spot set in the heart of Metricup’s beautiful farmland. Bring a friend and make a day of it. It will be fun and all for a good cause.
If you didn’t guess it, then our last jam was our biggest turnout yet and they just keep getting bigger and better. It is so good seeing new people turning up, new musicians, young and old, newbies and hardened professionals. This is the largest regular music event in the South West. Make the most of these wonderful warm summer days, come and play or just to listen. Dust off that guitar, ukulele, or whatever, warm up those vocal cords and come on down to find out if this is for you…no pressure, but you will have fun.
This band is the latest sensation from Bali. On their first tour offshore they have been impressing crowds all over Australia. Now they make it to Bunbury for a big night with two of the South West Blues Club bands at the Parade Hotel. These boys are rising stars so best you get along so you can say you were there.
Our big February kicks off on the first Saturday at The Graham Bricknell Music Shell in Bunbury. From 3pm onward through to 10pm a number of top local bands and acts are playing in a music extravaganza and South West Blues Club bands will be a big part of the mix. Please come on down, support the cause and help Australians in their hour of need. All this and have a great day out.
Please note that this month’s Jam Session is being held one week earlier due to circumstances beyond our control. This will be the second Sunday of the month rather than the third Sunday. We will resume with the third Sunday for March. Come on down and enjoy the fun.
Start the year with a hiss and a roar. This is the first jam for 2020 and it will be a ringer. We finished last year with the biggest ever turnout and we intend this year to be our best ever.
Please get there early and get your name on the white board. We hate it when people miss out. If you want to join the club then we will sign you up so that you can enjoy a year of jamming each month with a whole heap of talented local musicians and blues enthusiasts.
Please note: new start / finish times.
The dust has hardly settled in Bridgetown and it is time for our monthly jam so don’t get too comfortable. This is not the time to pack away those instruments. There are heaps of reasons to get down to the Parade. The weather is perfect and we will be in the clubs new Marquee, we have new amps for you to try out and so much more. See you Sunday.
